Welcome to our network

ECCI’s mission is to promote excellence in the diagnosis and management of congenital CMV infection.

To achieve this mission, our specific objectives are to:

  2. Promote the exchange of information among individuals and multidisciplinary groups who have expertise in congenital CMV infection through scientific meetings and educational workshops (e.g. the Joint workshop with European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV), in Crete in April 2023)
  3. Promote and carry out collaborative scientific projects and innovations in congenital CMV infection
  4. Facilitate international scientific and clinical guidelines on the diagnosis and management of congenital CMV infection
  5. Carry out any other activities to support the promotion of knowledge of congenital CMV infection, as determined by the Annual General Meeting
